Art’otel Hoxton Artist in Residence

Art’otel London Hoxton is dedicated to building a community of creators. A space where people can tell their stories, and view life as an ongoing journey of learning. Such values aligned strongly with Unaji’s creative philosophy, facilitating a truly scintillating two months of multi media storytelling. The on-site studio was transformed into an interactive installation “Yellow Brick Road” for guests to experience and network directly with the artist. The zeitgeist and unique hotel design by Signature artist D FACE inspired an “urban renaissance” in Emmanuel’s outlook to creating new works that embodied a postmodern cultural ambience.

Yellow Brick Road The Experience
During residency program Unaji exhibited in the renowned art’otel Hoxton Gallery, an immersive exhibition including digital projections artworks at larger than life scale. The evening explored dynamic Point of View of artistic journey through a short documentary screening, this visual travel adventure, courtesy of long term film collaborator motionpicturestm c/o lemuelunaji, showcased destinations such as @artotel and @lamalditaestampa Barcelona Residencies, Cannes Lions Festival, Lille France and more that have inspired and cultivated Unaji's unique cultural perspective and commentary. After the screening guests enjoyed live music performances and DJ set in The Gallery with refreshments.
